By initializing the Erase My Life protocol, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the following terms.
Erase My Life ("The Service") is a digital notification and organization tool. The Service includes automated check-in timers, credential storage ("The Vault"), post-mortem email delivery ("Last Writes"), and emergency contact alerts. Upon failure to respond within the designated grace period, the Service executes pre-defined instructions.
Erase My Life is not a law firm, estate planner, or digital executor. The Service provides a technical mechanism for information transfer only. It does not replace a legal Will or Testament.
You agree that Erase My Life is contractually obligated to fulfill this request once the conditions (Timer Expiration) are met.
CRITICAL: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Erase My Life shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from:
(A) The strict execution of your protocol as demanded in Section 4.
(B) Failure to execute due to server outages, third-party API changes, or "Force Majeure" events.
(C) Actions taken (or NOT taken) by your designated Emergency Contact.
You retain full ownership and responsibility for any text or files uploaded to the "Last Writes" service. You agree NOT to upload illegal content, malware, or stolen data. Erase My Life does not inspect your encrypted data but reserves the right to terminate accounts that violate laws. Uploaded files are permanently deleted from our servers immediately after delivery to the recipient.
You explicitly authorize Erase My Life (and its designated agents) to access your stored third-party accounts upon expiration of your timer for the sole purpose of account deletion. You explicitly authorize the Service to change your passwords, log out active sessions, and alter recovery settings prior to deletion. This step is a security measure designed to prevent unauthorized reactivation of your account during platform-mandated "grace periods" (e.g., Facebook's 30-day deletion window). You acknowledge that this action effectively renders the account irretrievable by anyone, including your legal heirs.
